An autumnal start in Gateshead this morning. The last CES of t he year ended with more of a whimper then a bang with a total of 25 birds caught.

Numbers for most species are down. The exception being Chiffchaff.

Nice to stroll around Shibdon Pond on Saturday evening.
3 Water Rail present also 2 Kingfisher, Ring necked parakeet, Reed Warblers and perhaps the last Swifts for the year.
