Music to do with some celebration of Jodrell Bank.
It was an open mic, line up drifting per piece, rather than pre-set bands. Not the most amazing music ever, but wonderful to see 15 mins from my village, and quite a lovely little atmosphere as well.

Looked the Diz Willis 1 up again & I HAD seen the cover of wot is indeed a poetry book b4, & prob it 4 sale 4 £30 (bit much 4 me!) British Library does indeed have it. The press is from Norwich, which fits w/Diz @ the time, but doesn't look 2b his own. They also published an early Marc Bolan poem!

Diz Willis - The Terrible Funeral & After: V early printed obscurity from me old mucker Diz, of performance art gubbins fame. Been flagging it since the 90s & no sign yet. Presumably a diddy poetry chapbook or similar. Doubtless in some art libraries/national collections, I haven't looked THAT hard.

Shut Up, Little Man! comic: Guys record drunks arguing creatively, release tapes, much hilarity. Prob seen panels from these on doc/online, & there might be more than 1 comic now. Suspect it was a bit expensive to order from US, & feel those guys r milkin it a bit now (see doc), but would like 2c...
