This sucks. A lot.
I know from my own experience doing it— it is NOT expensive to pay humans to do this. I got invaluable development working there. As did countless others.

Honestly, stutter steps should be banned. Or if they're allowed, let the 'keeper come off the line as soon as the taker hesitates. They're already at a massive disadvantage as-is. Why compound it?
