We fucked with their lives in inexcusable ways, subjecting them unjustly to our inhumane for-profit prison system. It's SO accurate: GOP "Lucy" doesn't even position the ball as if it's ready to kick. She gives Dem "Charlie Brown" NO reason to think that the ball will be there when he runs and kicks. But he goes through the motions anyway, and Lucy predictably spikes the ball into his prone body, celebrating.
