I just finished this gem, "On the Beach", by Nevil Shute. Good stuff if you're into the end of the world. I would love some recommendations that are of a similar theme and written around the same time period of the late 1950's. Thanks.📚💙

The parents parked their youngsters in the willow branches where they waited patiently to be fed. They were fairly well hidden until this incoming food delivery brought them out into view.
