I remember being a kid in Ohio coming out of a movie theater and it was -5, and our Caravan started but was disturbingly slow about it. The idea of living that way at 44 is a big nope from me.

I have a '19 Bolt EV and I like it but it's not like the best out there. It does what I need it to with a minimum of fuss. L3 charging sucks but I don't generally use the car that way so whatever.

When I was in CDMX a couple weeks ago they were everywhere. I got to ride in a couple BYD and JAC Ubers. I saw a Chevy Spark EUV that I would buy in a heartbeat if they were here in the US. As a car person it was an unusual experience to see cars I've never even heard of.
