Pride weekend for my city is this weekend! My first Pride, was with my mom in Denver in 2022. I had just come out as a lesbian 5 months before this and I was nervous to go to a Pride fest alone or with folks I didn’t know very well.

I remember the inauguration 4 years ago. This selfie I took to show my mom I was wearing pearls to match Kamala Harris as she became the first woman to be VP of the US. I watched the speeches and the strong women with so much joy and hope on the live stream. Today is so different. #inaguration

One of the funniest things about curly hair is that it’s so coarse that when I braid it, I could clip it at an angle and it would stick up like Pippi Longstockings. The red hair too is just sending me this morning
