My top cassock button fell off and went missing. But look what I found in my button box! It's the right size, so I rather think it WAS cassock button in it's last life.

Pro-tip. A bulletin to notate a monotoned Lord's prayer that drops a third at the last syllable, abbreviate from near the beginning to near the end, because why write out a million of the same pitch. However, even if you don't want to dictate which version people use, this is not the way:

I had forgotten this! My photo memories served this up today from 3 years ago when @gregory.havenreligious.org and I were trying to suss out what you would/could do if you did EVERYTHING. Obviously, there are a million versions, but this is our theory (3 years ago) of a maximalist daily office.

Coders of the Narthex!

Some days it's the tiny things. In my "liturgical materials development with LaTeX and Gregorio" project, I have now modified my .gabc processing script to suppress custos programmatically when requested. #nerd 🕯️

P.S. Hoping that next trick is to add lilypond/musiXtex.

This is the closure to my habit I made after realizing that the habit was making some visibly queer people doubt... Not only did I not seem to be read as queer anymore, not I was being read as unsafe.

Speaking of gifts, St Francis house is transitioning and gave us this altar, seen here newly polished and installed. In furniture miracles, the tabernacle we got from closed Christ Church Norwich fit the tabernacle nook exactly. ⚓🕯️

🕯️⚓ y'all... Lol what my community gave me for Christmas/impending ordination present. Liturgical color three ring binders, hand decorated. The visible crosses were salvaged from the sacristy of a closed church.

There is a setting where you can change it. Its default is Anglicised edition. (Hard to get my autocorrect to allow that s!)

First, thank you for teaching me the name of that style! It's the style I've been working on. The outer collar is of my habit tunic and the inner is homemade. I still want to get the tunic collar stiffer, and then hopefully the inner collar will be more visible the whole way around.
