So…I saw a statement that the Milwaukee Ballet’s deciding to replace live musicians with tracks…for The Nutcracker.

Is it that hard to pay for the time and resources musicians put themselves through to learn, rehearse and perform a show?

Either the OG tweet/X poster’s exhibiting color-blind racism without knowing or COMMITTED to the bit that was strictly staying in white neighborhoods bc NO WAY you did NOT encounter POC in the 70s/80s. The MOVE bombing was in 85.
The main “change” was that a mindset like this was not okay.
