December Cold Moon, a supermoon by all accounts. Thursday, 4th December, 2025 16:45 hrs. Trust me, it was certainly cold when I took the photograph. My fingers are recovering well.

'Once perfected' makes a gigantic assumption about AI which I don't believe we will ever see fulfilled - but that won't stop executives keen to believe tech bros' promises that they can cut costs by replacing people with the best guess vending machines. So yes, a lot of people will lose their jobs.
Once perfected AI will replace the call center people that provide customer service from India, the Philippines and Africa. This will save operating costs for those corps. The AI will replace many office workers in the private sector and govt agencies.

It will eventually create more poor people...
So loss making OpenAI is now begging for US government money to finance its research based on unproven promises of riches to follow at some unspecified date. Is anyone else recalling renaissance alchemists persuading rich patrons to support them because they'd be turning lead into gold any day now?

I see the US has reportedly bought 10% of Intel. Is this the first step in the US government nationalising private enterprises? What other socialist policies will this administration be implementing?
