Jews were among Polish officers slaughtered by Stalin at Katyn. His postwar purge of Jews ("doctors plot" etc.) halted by his fortunate death. Then the 1952 Czech anti-Jewish purge and the 1968 Polish anti-"Zionist" campaign...But hey keep the dream alive.

"In one country" as long as you consider Eastern Europe - reaching as far as Germany - to be part of that country. Kremlin's current occupant shares that view.

Absolutely. Glad to see people focusing on American history rather than not-very-useful analogies to 1920s Italy, 1930s Germany. Everything happening now is rooted in the U.S. past.
