I love biking. And skiing. and my family. And being a nerd.

Build more housing, bus lanes, and bike networks!

Still looking for a billionaire to just launch nationwide bike share. And or build huge condos!
Being inside omsi, could tell when a train dropped off a whole new wave of people that then walked by.

Woof.

“even Grant, now Portland’s largest high school with more than 2,200 students, is projected to have about 1,400 in its student body.”

This one number hits my brain harder than the % base decline in enrollment across the district.

Some tough changes are going to have to happen.

The dual enrollment seems to be a huge part of the issue. And it’s hasn’t made sense from a logical sense for awhile?

Made sense from a PPS avoiding a fight?

Based on Oregonlive reporting no permit was pulled. Wouldn’t change by view of today if they had pulled one or tried. And I am happy to see multiple thousand people show up because we can!

The ppb event twitter did seem surprised by having to close traffic down.

Start with some food stands. Pop up activities. Mini golf, hot chocolate, ice cream, hot nut, pop corn. Etc.

She is so good at her job.

But what if we build so many units prices and rents fall? And then people can spend money on things like bikes, and yummy food! What then?

Glad I’m not the only one who has had that thought!

Almost took me out the other night. @joanbybike.bsky.social ranting about it might have saved me because it was top of mind. We need PBOT to designate dangerous leaf corridors and that stretch seems like #1!
