Narrative Content Coordinator for The Division 2 at Massive Entertainment/Ubisoft. Will probably mostly post nonsense about video games, books, writing, counter-culture and whatever random hobby I'm obsessed with this month. He/him.
I'm really enjoying #ChaosZeroNightmare. Is it full of typical Gacha bleakness? Sure. Does it use the really annoying Genchin Gacha 50/50 system? Yes. Some typical anime bait? Yes. But the gameplay and the characters are enjoyable, so for now, it's a nice little diversion for worldly bullshit.

Finally found and bought two more of the books that I lost years and years ago - Aleister Crowley's Magick Without Tears and The Equinox of the Gods (in same editions as I had previously). Of the bunch I lost, only @rodneyorpheus.bsky.social's Abrahadabra remains, then I'm back on track. Happiness!

Games Workshop releasing a #WH40k character encyclopedia? That's cool. Games Workshop proceeding to ruin the cover by shoving a mini into the book, cutting a big hole in the front to showcase it and adding large splash text all over the bottom of the page? Absolutely not cool.

Finished up the last minis I needed for my Ad Mech Kill Team. Are they flawed? Heavily. Is the basing extremely basic? Yes. But since they *are* the first #wh40k minis I've painted in 20+ years, I'm quite proud of them. I've learned quite a bit during the process, so time to pick the next team.

Because of all the #WH40K mini painting videos I've watched, YouTube has decided that #gunpla building might be in my interests. Watched a few videos, and they are not good for my sanity. I have a sudden urge to buy and build Gundam models. I prefer to stay in a relationship though.

With my main bookshelf looking like a battlefield (just gonna tear out the HP books when I have the time to sort out everything around them), I had to remove stuff from my more decorative shelf to find space. And I'm already running out of it. I hate selling books, but it might be time.

Found a 1st edition copy of Aleister Crowley's The Holy Books of Thelema from 1983. Sadly, its beautiful black cover is hidden beneath the very beige dust jacket. As a bonus, someone has actually used the book for study (dated to 1986) and has underlined words and added comments in the margins.

My copy of #Doomsong and its campaign book just arrived and oh, they are stunning. Loved the packaging they came in, complete with the game's Doom Coin set in a wax seal. (@caesar-ink.bsky.social) #ttrpg

Seriously Budapest, why would I do this escape room? Why would I do that to myself?

Yeah, that was a great concert.

Arrived today. For some reason, Aleister Crowley - who translated the book - got top billing on this edition of Charles Baudelaire's The Poem of Hashish.

Yeah. The world is ready. I just wonder how to do it justice and cover the whole thing. A trilogy of movies? An actual full blown animated series that'd take many seasons to finish? (I will also take the ego opportunity to share a photo of my Akira wall, ignore any crookednes)

It's good to know that #DeathStranding2 is still, well, Death Stranding.

Let's fucking go.

Today is midsummer, and we're heading out to celebrate. If you're interested in knowing more about Swedish midsummer celebrations, I highly recommend this documentary.

Today we celebrate the (explosive) Greater Feast of Jack Parsons, one of the most fascinating occult/Thelemic figures of the 20th century (inspiration for the Strange Angel tv-show and friend of L. Hubbard) and an actual rocket engineer, until he blew himself up. (Thanks, @marcovisconti.org)

My Kickstarted supplements for Orbital Blues - the TTRPG about sad space cowboys - from @soulmuppet.co.uk just arrived. Love that Rogue Anthems VCR box. Overall they are beautiful and the quality feels stellar. #ttrpg #orbitalblues

Trying Lies of P on a lower difficulty and I'm really hoping other Soulslike will follow suit and implement them. It still feels the same, but much more approachable. A whole new audience would get to experience the genre. That's a very good thing. Also, it's a fucking beautiful game.

Got my The Prisoner Wave 2 figurines from @wandering-planet.bsky.social today. Joined both their first and second The Prisoner Kickstarter and now I'm kinda sad I didn't get the full set. They look fantastic.

Okay, Blue Prince. One more go, this time according to your rules. Let's see if you can click with me this time.

After getting the urge to play Final Fantasy XIII again, I realized I only had it for the 360 (which is buried somewhere in the basement). Found both games for the PS3 for $10. I guess I will have to dig out the PS3 now? Will I ever actually do that? Will that monster even fit next to the TV?

Finished building the whole north-south road in #DeathStranding. It's cool to know it will be useful for other players as well. It'll be great when delivering those urgent pizzas all across the map. Now both me and BB deserve a nap though. G'night.
