i'm sitting on the floor on the small green carpeted stage, playing my omnichord and singing into the microphone. my pals who played the show with me are seated on either side singing backing vocals. posing on the stage with annelyse and rose, the two pals who played the show with me. we're all wearing flowy whimsical outfits—not matching, but vaguely coordinated—and none of us are actually looking at the camera the three of us hugging after the show. the tiny venue is a thrift store by day, so you can see the racks of clothes in the background. it's mostly empty after the show, but there's a couple people still hanging around. we all look overjoyed. i am holding a can of seltzer.
