I worry that among a certain members of the German business and tech scene, this is going to lead to further normalisation of the AfD rather than a rejection of the people and values that types like Musk represent.

Alongside the discussion on what the [social] media environment does to the electorate, worth also considering that the downside of a gerontocracy in 2024 is being ruled by a bunch of boomers who are addicted to their smartphones.

Grammar pedantry is for dullards, but the real problem here is a nation that can't distinguish typographically between grave/acute accents and apostrophes (the article illistration being a particularly egregious example)
