The important parts are the characters and the performances. Cynthia and Ariana do not disappoint. They are everything you could ever want from any Elphaba and Glinda. I literally have 0 notes about the actors, their choices, or the musical arrangements.

Pure perfection.

There are some complaints about it, particularly around the production. Issues with lighting, issues with CGI, crap like that.

Good news: if you’re a theater kid, you won’t care. Use theater kids are used to suspending our disbelief with props and staging and lighting.

I’m new to the genre. I typically read sci-fi and fantasy, but I’m starting to dip my toe into smut.

Any piece of media that makes me laugh, cry, and h*rny all in one go is a keeper.
