Yesterday Shamarita presented a poster about Aharonov-Bohm caging in classical photonic simulators through Floquet engineering — her master work from TU Kaiserslautern — in the 2nd DPG Fall Meeting in Göttingen.

Welcome our new group member Lichen Ji, who recently got her PhD at Tsinghua University studying superconducting proximity effect. She joined us this month as a postdoc (shared with TQC Thin Films group) and she will explore chiral superconductors with molecular beam epitaxy.

All boxes are open, and the cryogenic dewar is mounted on the vibration isolation table. Now comes the real heavy lifting — time to settle the system into the pit!

All 7 crates📦are now safely stored in the basement. Huge thanks to everyone involved, and a special shoutout to our technician Ole for making it all run so smoothly.
