Nosferatu captures the experience of living with unhealed trauma of sexual abuse. Agree or disagree, that’s fine; interpretation is subjective. As someone who, unfortunately, understands this pain, I see the darkness Ellen carries as metaphor for the shame, fear & isolation that survivors can carry.
