Absolutely killer night of trains and tricks. All new to me, all great: Iberian Gauge, Numberwang, Chai Tea Jazz (don’t mind how horribly we performed in our first game of CTJ).

Unsure I’ll ever get tired of Old Kong’s Crown. Last nights game was absolutely BONKERS and saw one player win by a single point by stealing from every other herald on the last battle.

Guesstimates is the party game I demoed at SM Design Day. It has players writing Ito/Wavelength style clues that are then bought in an auction. These granular clues players wrote were so funny.
Where would you guess these are numerically on this scale? Whats most and least valuable to buy?

I played the upcoming space rails game from @tabletapasgames.bsky.social last night and had a blast. Streamlined rules for what is ultimately a mid point between a cube rails and 18xx game. Look for this when it hits crowdfunding!

Excited to record the first episode of our Root deep dive for @decisionspace.bsky.social today! It has been my favorite game of all time since that first Kickstarter arrived at my door in 2018 and I still enjoy playing it with high level competitors AND I love teaching it to new players!

I spent most of last week at the ATOM retreat at the Gamers Ranch. I was there demoing my upcoming game for folks (InsideUp, my publisher, was one of the hosts). I had an absolute blast playing tons of stuff with awesome people. As a new designer I felt so lucky to get this kind of opportunity!

I spent most of last week at the ATOM retreat at the Gamers Ranch. I was there demoing my upcoming game for folks (InsideUp, my publisher, was one of the hosts). I had an absolute blast playing tons of stuff with awesome people. As a new designer I felt so lucky to get this kind of opportunity!
Had a great first play of Altay tonight. Really cool deck-building civ game, which is right in my wheelhouse.
