Feline diabetes (which is common) no longer needs injections of insulin for control. This new treatment works in a different way & is great for needle-averse cats & owners #LVS25 #LondonVetShow

I'm at #LondonVetShow #LVS25 for the next 2 days. It's important to keep up to date ( it's now 40 years since I qualified). This first lecture is a great example of why I need to be here!

I love this #BSAVA concept. A fireside chat with a well known vet, just "shooting the breeze". Today it's Danielle Gunn-Moore, the most expert cat expert of them all. If my own cat was ever seriously ill, she's the person I'd talk to.

Artificial Intelligence is making a mark in vet clinics, just as it is in other areas of life. I went to a few lectures on this today: it's early days & still far from perfect but it's easy to see that in a decade, this will play a major role for both vets and pet owners #bsava25

An update on Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) from Danielle Gunn-Moore:: after decades of cats dying of this, we finally have a treatment that completely cures this. It's great to have this full update. #bsava25
