Ireland's entry for Eurovision is called Laika Party . I thought this just a catchy party-song, but Emmy the (Norwegian) singer/songwriter is an animal lover. The song is a tribute to Laika, a Russian stray dog tragically sacrificed for space travel. The best of luck to Emmy.
