I distinctly recall reading a section where you describe getting a 2nd wind after about 50 miles and the progress feeling effortless. I've never experienced that, but maybe I just need to go further!

I've found some days for these longer runs. Having got many races in the next couple of months but hopefully will stay focused.

I play guitar in a band and we're playing a Christmas party in 2 months, with 20 songs on the setlist. We spend an awful long time arguing over what makes the setlist, and someone always pops a last minute one in the night before!

That's cool. Nice kit. But that's a lot of songs to learn in a few weeks!
