Retired atmospheric scientist. President of River City Inclusion. Love hiking in the mountains. Training through the winter for my first marathon even though I’m chronologically old.
Canadian border officials protect Canada. American border officials protect the US. We (Canada) should, and will improve surveillance. We should, and will improve oversight of goods arriving in our ports (especially fentanyl and precursors) We should, and will aggressively seek out drug production.

Yep. First post as a forecaster was Pacific Weather Centre in early 80’s where they were trying to improve our forecasting of explosive cyclogenisis.

I’m just a beginner and not as ambitious. This year I ran my first 10k and half. Norma trading for BMO marathon in May then the Kushan Climb. Then we’ll see.

Good for the mind, but as it wanders my pace increases, Garmin complains. I have to enjoy my run while still remembering that there’s a marathon in my future.

I’ve been running for less than a year and been finding the same. Getting easier now that I listen to slower music. Also Garmin has sped up its definition is “slow” a bit. (Its happy with 6:40/km now - was 7:10).

I’m the president of a society that supports people of all ages with developmental challenges. And am training for my first marathon (even though I’m over 70). Hope to learn from you.
