I realise it’s been a long time since there was a dedicated @theathleticfc.bsky.social reporter for Norwich, but it’s galling that not one of the last five #ncfc tagged stories even relate to a current player or manager, only big six cast-offs. Didn’t we hire a new manager this weekend…?

Went to Ranworth Broad to see the ospreys with my new spotting scope today. Beautiful, graceful birds - very exciting to see them in Norfolk. I also love a good grebe (though my digiscoping needs work).

Saw my first Martello tower in Aldeburgh today. Looked to be in remarkably good condition given its age and location, though exactly how it would have stopped an armada I’m not sure…

We’re temporarily living in North Suffolk and it’s a feast for the eyes - especially at dawn and dusk. Off to Aldeburgh and Orford today so will try to post more later.
