Recently watched a video that mentioned that the first Boeing 777 delivered (reg: N777UA) is still flying.
I looked it up and it is flying to VCV Saturday.
I’m no aviation expert, but isn’t this where they park planes for storage, and even possible retirement? Or am reading too much into this?

Well, missed the 318 to Forest Park/Blue, which netted me a trip to dunkin, but cost me about 20min. Departed at 1109a. I’m 49min behind my planned time.

The bus got me to Cottage Grove at 940a for an on-time 947a departure. This puts me 30min behind my schedule, but much of the hard spots are out of the way.

Off at 63rd at 854a. Wanted an eastbound 63, but there weren’t any imminent. Took a westbound 63 and after some debate, made what seemed like my best available move. I got on an Ashland/63rd-bound train at Halsted at 913a. Off at 916a to get on an eastbound 63.

For my money, there’s no better route into the heart of the city than the Metra Electric from the south and the best option for continuing north toward Milwaukee is the Milwaukee.
