Trump/GOP have so much power now they don't even care about the optics.

They embrace taking away healthcare, in a call from Trump relaxing on his Florida golf course.
They are trying desperately to stop the government from feeding the poor, including now trying to claw back allowed payments.

Andrew, there's no way to argue with them. But I love this image.

Happy little javelina.

Any theraphosidologists out there?

What is this tarantula? (Found in Sedona, Arizona. Small: about the size of a quarter.) Black Canyon Black T?

The Democratic landslides tonight were precisely because Trump WAS on the ballot.

Just for that. Have another.

Albany, California with a population of 19,000 has turned out a couple thousand people at their No Kings rally.

Are these Bolton's classified documents? Oh, no, they're Trump's.

Sorry, but we don't give "peace" prizes to war criminals based on the recommendations of other war criminals.

Just waiting now on the new Washington Post opinion pieces "Why the Nazis weren't so bad" and "Democracy? It's overrated"

This is not normal, this is fascism. Never let it become normal.

Another example of the pettiness and threat of the Trump administration's censorship and deletion of science: USEPA used to have tools and training for #water utilities to build system resilience in the face of extreme weather, including #climatechange. That website is gone. Poof.

Do newspapers ever get to the point where they admit a columnist may no longer be worth publishing?

Republicans don't mind breaking laws: Laws are for other people.
But also, if they prosecuted Homan for taking a $50,000 bribe, how would they justify not prosecuting Trump and his family members for taking billions of dollars of bribes?

Nothing says laws are for other people, not for us more than this MAGA attitude.

The original Sun Day was May 1978. I organized the events at Yale University, with speakers Barry Commoner and David Brower. Here are some pics.

Maybe it should have been obvious to people that America was losing its technological edge when some bozo decided the best way to open a can was to design a top that bent the contaminated piece directly into the drink.

A new WSJ op-ed by a climate denier argues the inaccurate, misleading, incomplete DoE report being used to overturn key climate regulations offers "clarity" on climate.
The only clarity it offers is to make clear #climate deniers will do and say anything to mislead the public and policymakers.

This, by Musk, is the height of stupidity and ego.

The idea that X is a source of news so we don't need actual media and reporters is like saying we don't need weather satellites, climate scientists, and weather models because your phone has the weather on it.

The stupid, it burns.
