I’ve been thinking about this for years now, but always thought that it wouldn’t achieve anything because of our ridiculous FPTP electoral system. Like a lot of others (now over 110,000 members!) I’ve arrived at the decision that this is the best hope we have for a fairer and more radical future
So the government appear to have forced the DG of the BBC to resign to please Trump, and are still spending taxpayers cash posting on X to please Musk. Spineless. I had such high hopes and look at what we have ended up with.

After about a month of noisy fireworks pretty much every night, some arsehole is setting them off here again tonight. Is it to commemorate Remembrance Sunday for all the people who have PTSD?

For the record, I saw The Smiths live on their three UK tours and they were honestly one of the best live bands

All four members of my family are now Green Party members and I met someone else this morning who told me he joined last week having never been a member of a political party before

Finally Starmer has called out Reform as racist, but the damage is done and continues to be done. People I know that were once friends are openly racist because their social media feed has made them think it’s acceptable
