Grizzlies/NBA sometimes. Other times Newcastle United. Still others complete nonsense.
And unfortunately the same is happening in politics with prediction markets. And polls, of course, but the Polymarkets of the world have accelerated the downfall of decent discourse.

It’s interesting to me how closely this all aligns with sports journalism, which I did for 20 years or so. The more access you were given by teams, the more you were expected to adhere to their limitations. So you had access, but for what reason? Access journalism has hurt every aspect of media.

I don’t know if this counts, or if this song was on any charts, but this was an 80s song written for the movie Music and Lyrics that was better than a lot of real 80s songs…

See I had always thought of music as merely a series of vibrations at different frequencies until one day I talked to a friend of mine at our Catskills eatery of choice and he told me that those frequencies often go together in a discernible pattern. Sure enough he was right.

This may be more for a Q&A setting, George, but in your opinion, is the protracted and public nature of our transfer dealings more down to the targets we're after or to the fact that, w/out sr. football transfer leads, we are less capable than years past, when Isak/Tonali deals were quick and quiet?
