Reading things like ‘its worth missing parts of your youth to spend it getting a better chance to work in the themed entertainment industry’ in the UK is really disheartening, these people (like I used to be) will work hard to find an office of AI and Zoom hell awaits

When I grew up the world was a desolate wasteland and our only form of entertainment was to have mental breakdowns on roller coasters (Mr Sandman playin in the background)

40 years of Carnaval Festival at Efteling! This classic family ride opened in 1984 as the park's first dark ride, following Jokie on a world tour. It was built by German studio Heimo to a concept by animator Joop Geesink. Here it is in 1986! #themeparks #darkrides @efteling.bsky.social
