I defy anyone to watch this match and still say that women’s rugby isn’t as fast, physical or exciting as the men’s game.

I know not everyone appreciates the wind, but every day when I see electricity prices like this, I can’t deny that I do feel a bit smug.

Something as simple as chucking an AirTag in a suitcase is really handy when flying. Reassuring to know the bag is on the plane before we takeoff, and useful to know whether it’s on the way to baggage collection when you land…

This must be a watershed moment. The government's continued use of X is no longer simply negligent. It is an act of conscious assistance to violent extremism.
The common sense meaning should make this Elon Musk's "rivers of blood" moment

Though I think he goes further than Enoch Powell in a couple of important ways
Elon Musk spoke by video to Tommy Robinson's anti-immigrant rally in the UK today.

"You're in a fundamental situation here where, whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you," said Musk. "You either fight back or you die."

The brilliantly funny Michael Spicer. If you like this, I might dig out his Christopher Nolan sketch which had me in tears.

If you’re in the UK and haven’t heard about Slow Ways, this is a great effort to map and improve accessible walking routes between our towns & villages.
Worth a look, even if only for awareness rather than than financial support.

Really pleased to see my old home town (Halifax) listed here.
What’s not mentioned (because presumably to readers of a Yorkshire publication it’s self-evident) is the close proximity of beautiful countryside to all of these towns. https://mastodon.social/@YorksBylines/114663154177360998

Incredibly depressing day. I've spent my entire life being told by British governments how dreadful immigration is. New Labour did it. The Coalition. The Brexiters. Now Starmer. All of them accusing the ones who came before them of failing to clamp down. The same old vacant mean-spirited bollocks.

ANALYSIS/COMMENTARY

The Lib Dems:

Have taken control of 3 county councils, more than they've ever managed before. Won more seats than Labour and the Conservatives (nearly as many as both of them combined in fact). Now control more councils than the Conservatives.

Beat Labour in the national […]

I’ve got a strong suspicion that I’m the only person in history who’s ever asked this, but does anyone know of an iOS Podcast app that works in landscape mode?
