In reply that I should’ve said “children”, I believe all the children trafficked and exploited were girls in these cases, so I feel like being specific is important.
I know “girls” can be used to infantilise women and so also not be clear… but I hope it’s clear that’s not the context here. 🫂

“Teen” could’ve just referred to 18 and 19 year olds though. Some of the victims were as young as 14. I think that’s important to be specific about.
