It’s the last day of Queeriosities at Copeland Park in Peckham and I’m raising money for The Sameer Project who are working on the ground in Gaza.

It would mean the world if you’d buy the print. Sales could mean up to £1,400 going to provide vital aid to Palestinians during this genocide.

Watching TNG and the fact they have a species called the Bynars who are non-binary is 10/10. 💜
The two Bynars, called One Zero and Zero One. They are fairly androgynous with bald heads with pink/purple hues. They both wear the same clothes but the mirror image of each other. A black undershirt, with a silver glittery jacket (v 1980s) with a paler silver sash coming down the shoulder and then across the chest.

These statistics are horrendous.

Imagine over 200 people had starved to death in a European country; we’d move heaven and earth to stop it.

But a further 500,000+ people in Gaza are in the grip of famine.

And yet we continue to provide assistance to the perpetrators.
Extract from the linked article: The Gaza Ministry of Health said Friday that at least 273 people have died of starvation, including 112 children. The IPC report notes that over 90% of children under 2 years old consume fewer than two food groups per day, with high-protein and micronutrient-rich foods in extreme scarcity, hindering children's immunity and development. The scarcity also impacts pregnant and breastfeeding women, harming their ability to breastfeed their babies, compromising the health of both mother and child. In July alone, the report notes that 58% of children in Gaza experienced fever, nearly half suffered from skin infections, 43% had diarrhea, and 25% had acute respiratory infections.

Sad to hear the news of Terence Stamp passing away. His portrayal of Bernadette in ‘Priscilla’ (along with Olympia Dukakis’ portrayal of Anna Madrigal) was pivotal to my teenage understanding of trans people as just everyday human beings.

I know we (rightly) challenge cis people taking trans roles…

Fuck absolutely all the way off comparing miners protesting to protect their futures with people threatening innocent people—including children—with violent threats, intimidation and attempted murder via arson. The Guardian should be utterly ashamed of this framing.

Quite happy with the first draft of my first typeface. Full uppercase alphabet done. Nothing missing. All 2̶6̶ 25 letters of the alphabet accounted for. 🫣

Seriously though, any type friends who can share how to draw a letter “S” with me. Much appreciated. It’s clearly impossible. 😅

Just watching the video for Timebomb (as is my right!) and spotted a Tension diamond logo twelve years ahead of its time! 💎
