The same unfairness angers me here with Mahmood (and previously Priti Patel, Suella Braverman etc) whose families in recent generations benefitted from UK policies welcoming economic/political migrants… yet they now want ensure new migrants can’t have the same opportunities their families received

While many aspects of Brexit distressed me, perhaps the most egregious was so many leading British Brexiters with access to Irish/EU passports being quite happy to remove the rights & freedoms of EU citizenship from us Brits without access to Irish/EU passports…

We now have Starmer and his cabinet briefing that they find the sociopaths in Trump’s administration to be inspirational…

Yet in reality, if these UK cabinet members were American, the Trump nut-jobs they so admire would probably have deported them to El Salvador months ago…
November 18, 2025 at 10:39 AM
The ONLY thing Starmer has proved to be any good at delivering is flying to wherever Trump is on the planet and sticking his head as far as possible up Trump’s arse.

One-third of Labour’s tenure in Govt has now passed. They’re running out of time to deliver big promises made in 2024

Planning reform, leasehold reform, House of Lords reform, 1.5 million new homes, significant drop in NHS waiting lists, over 2% annual economic growth…

NONE will happen by 2029
November 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM
Starmer now demonising small boat migrants to hide the abject failure of his govt to deliver their promises to electorate…

Economy - getting worse
House building - nowhere near targets
NHS - nowhere near targets
Inflation - rising
Unemployment - rising
Small boat arrivals - rising…
November 18, 2025 at 10:23 AM
Small boat arrivals are a tiny percentage of UK immigration

Tories demonised these migrants to hide the massive rises in legal migration they enabled in order to raise UK GDP and hide the appalling impacts of Tory Brexit on UK economy

Kier “make Brexit work” Starmer now doing exactly same thing
November 18, 2025 at 10:17 AM
With such an appalling track record after one-third of his tenure as PM, even Badenoch has a good chance of beating Starmer at next election… and she has the personality and charisma of a turnip.
November 18, 2025 at 1:33 AM
One-third of Labour’s five-year tenure in govt has now passed… Starmer’s govt asked to judge on their delivery… Economy: getting worse. House building: nowhere near targets. NHS: minuscule improvements miles from targets. Inflation: rising. Unemployment: rising. Small boat numbers: rising…
November 18, 2025 at 1:29 AM
Consistently excusing Starmer govt’s relentless own-goals, tone-deaf decisions and careless fuck-ups is being that frog in water as its temp is slowly raised… You accept each slight temp rise even though it’s more uncomfortable. By the time you realise you’re being boiled to death, it’s too late…
November 18, 2025 at 1:18 AM
Without a doubt, many in late-1920s/early-1930s Germany similarly dismissed concerns of party policy announcements by saying the very same thing: “It’s grotesque to describe some idiotic policy - cruel an racists though it is - as eerily similar to a World War and the extermination of millions”….
November 18, 2025 at 1:00 AM
Even after years as LOTO and 18 months as PM, Starmer and most of his cabinet haven’t learned how to communicate.

Starmer, Reeves doing media interviews is painful to watch… It’s like watching a non-communicative autistic kid being forced by his teacher to speak in front of the whole school.
November 17, 2025 at 11:34 PM
Starmer’s govt has become so incredibly unpopular from its inability to communicate internally and externally, everyone connected to it is toast and has no future in UK politics

Labour must find Burnham a seat in Westminster and make him leader to have a hope in hell of beating Farage in 2029.
November 17, 2025 at 11:19 PM
Yet after a year of almost relentless own-goals and moronic fuck-ups, so many keep supporting this administration… when it’s clear they are tone deaf to their base supporters and totally incapable of learning from their mistakes….
November 17, 2025 at 11:14 PM
If Polanski wants electoral success, he shouldn’t touch Sultana with a 10-foot pole….

Sultana’s recent “Zelenskyy is no friend to British workers” comment revealed her thinking to be toxic to an overwhelming percentage of British voters who strongly support Ukraine
November 17, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Ms Carpenter clearly wrote a song about Starmer/McSweeny…

“…fuck my life” 🤣🤣🤣
November 14, 2025 at 10:17 AM
Londoners will vote for Khan, but I’m unsure if 70 million across Britain will want Khan as PM (for various reasons)

Labour need a leader in 2029 who all 70 million Brits can happily vote for

Burnham fits that criteria.
November 12, 2025 at 6:05 PM
That’s the whole point…

Labour need to engineer Burnham a seat in Westminster and make him leader by 2028… enabling his excellent comms skills (and his zero links to Starmer’s hugely unpopular govt) to successfully fight Farage in 2029
November 12, 2025 at 6:02 PM
Burnham will clearly be the best Labour PM to take on Farage in 2029.

For the sake of 70 million Brits, Labour need to engineer Burnham a seat in Westminster and make him leader… to successfully fight Farage in 2029
November 12, 2025 at 10:17 AM
Burnham also has excellent track record in Manchester’s incredible renaissance over past decade… Burnham has engineered much of the city’s remarkable improvements with very astute public/private investment.

He knows what he’s doing….
November 12, 2025 at 10:15 AM
Unlike Starmer who is stuck with his asinine manifesto pledge to “make Brexit work” by keeping UK out of Single Market… Burnham openly says Brexit has been hugely damaging for UK and must be rapidly reconsidered…
November 12, 2025 at 10:10 AM
Burnham is an excellent communicator. Watching his media interviews makes Starmer seem emotionally inept in comparison. Burnham also very popular with Brits outside London… and indeed also popular with many Londoners…
November 12, 2025 at 10:07 AM
To best fight Farage in the 2029 general election, Starmer’s replacement has to be a great communicator - who also isn’t saddled with links to Starmer’s hugely unpopular administration, its tax rises and manifesto pledge breaking…
November 12, 2025 at 10:03 AM
“You’ve a look of Eva Braun…”

🤣🤣🤣

(per the wonderful Victoria Wood & Julie Walters)

Spot on

Davie and his cabal of thugs (installed by Tories to ensure the national broadcaster pushed Tories’ pro-Brexit propaganda into the homes of 70 million Brits) have systematically destroyed the credibility of BBC News
