Ms Carpenter clearly wrote a song about Starmer/McSweeny…

“…fuck my life” 🤣🤣🤣

“You’ve a look of Eva Braun…”

🤣🤣🤣

Spot on

Davie and his cabal of thugs (installed by Tories to ensure the national broadcaster pushed Tories’ pro-Brexit propaganda into the homes of 70 million Brits) have systematically destroyed the credibility of BBC News

We mustn’t forget Labour’s shift to the right under Starmer is currently on track to eliminate 35 Labour seats in Scotland…
October 27, 2025 at 4:15 PM
Spot on

Keir “I’m-ready-for-my-close-up” Starmer willingly chases the global spotlight as a Prime Minister… but is clearly wholly uninterested in standing-up for the values and aspirations of the 10 million people across Britain who voted Labour just a year ago and put him into No 10…

Of course, this Green+LibDem coalition being supported by SNPs 50+ MPs would require the commitment for a new Scots Independence referendum. (By 2029 it will be over 15 years since last one)

With Scots horrified that Farage is so close to becoming UK PM, 58% of Scots want to leave UK and join EU….

Naomi should ask any Tory:

“After UK left EU in 2020, successive Tory govts massively increased legal migration from Asia&Africa by 400%…

“If Brexit is so good, why did Tory govts desperately try to hide Brexit’s economic damage by falsely boosting UK GDP using huge rises in legal migration???”

Your sea/skyscapes look as powerful as JMW Turner’s - and he, quite rightly, has his work on permanent exhibition at Tate Britain here in London. Huge kudos to you!

I most probably can’t afford it, but are any of attached screenshotted works still available (esp the first one - it’s fantastic!)

It’s democracy in action!

70% of UK steel is exported to the EU.

The good people of UK steel towns like Scunthorpe voted overwhelmingly for Brexit in 2016 to cut themselves from their largest market.

We should all be delighted they’ve got precisely what they voted for in such large numbers.

It would be a pointless argument from Faragists…

The data clearly shows Brits there were ZERO boat crossings in the years before Farage’s Brexit in 2016…

Boat crossings then skyrocketed after Farage’s Brexit to almost 50,000 a year…

I have insomnia so listen to 100’s of podcasts - and must say

Beyond his astute understanding of geopolitics, the most insightful comment I’ve ever taken from any podcast…

…was @sturdyalex.bsky.social’s advice to listeners to sleep with pillow between the legs

I now sleep like baby every night

She’s spot on. Tacky nylon St George Cross flags fastened with millions of non-recyclable plastic zip-ties onto lampposts across UK… are a symbol of hate, not patriotism…

All made in China and sold on e-commerce websites earning US billionaires many millions in fees…

Nothing English about them.

Japan endless succession of right-wing governments since 1995 implementing relatively nationalist, anti-immigration policies have ensured Japan’s economy has effectively stagnated for past 30 years…

Falling from being 4x the UK economy in 1995 - to just same size as UK in 2025:
September 23, 2025 at 7:15 AM
It is notable how - in the past decade - the St George’s Cross flag has been so appropriated by the far-right that, I think, a majority of Brits now also consider it intimidating and offensive.
September 19, 2025 at 10:09 AM
I found a wonderful clip of the Prime Minister preferring to appease the far-right rather than show the moral leadership that the 10 million Brits who voted for him desperately need after a decade of watching the Tories slide into neofascism…
September 16, 2025 at 5:38 AM
Starmer discarded his morality - and the morality of the 10 million Brits who voted for him in 2024 - simply to appease a few far-right voters.

Appeasing the far-right never works.

Watching PM Starmer over past 12 months is like watching those old Pathe clips of PM Chamberlain…

1975: CBS aired Cher and her guests (Tina Turner) at 8pm every SUNDAY evening into every American home…

Superb - thank you.

You & @dorianlynskey.bsky.social @originstorypodcast.bsky.social will know…. Does recent history show us the far right can be defeated?…

Just 2 decades apart:

Hugely popular evening prime-time US national network tv…

1954: McCarthy using ‘patriotism’ to terrorise liberals…
September 14, 2025 at 4:36 PM
They’ve invented household laser-machines the size of a postcard that zap mosquitoes in your garden…

Can’t Europeans apply same technologies to detect and destroy swarms of cheap Russian drones?
September 14, 2025 at 12:50 PM
Can help but think… LibDems & Greens are growing in support - combined, they rival Reform. If they continue to grow up to 2029, could a LibDem/Green coalition or electoral pact be on the cards?

Supported by the current huge revival of SNP, could a LibDem/Greens coalition put Ed Davey on No10?…

1975: Tina Turner & Cher
September 13, 2025 at 4:51 PM
Glad to hear! Your words yesterday really resonated

Recent history gives us some hope:

Only 2 decades apart…

Most popular US prime-time national network TV (before internet - when all US families watched evening TV together)

1954: McCarthy terrorising progressives…

Labour in Scotland are toast

Scots voted Labour in 2024 to help end 14 hellish years of Tory rule….

But now, after over year of Starmer, Scots realise Labour ain’t much better than Tories for Scotland

After getting pummelled in 2024, SNP resurgence in 2025 is remarkable…
September 10, 2025 at 3:22 AM
I’m not Green supporter… but his media appearances are resonating really well with young voters under 40

Davey’s pragmatism and pro-EU stance appeals to many voters 40+

Labour & Tories will get annihilated in Scotland in 2029 by a resurgent SNP…

Plaid now attracting huge Welsh Labour support…
September 9, 2025 at 7:36 PM
Greens + LibDems combined currently rival Reform in popularity…

We then add SNP & Plaid’s huge revival in popularity since 2024 GE…

If Greens & LibDems continue to gain support up to 2029… the maths says a coalition of Greens + LibDems + SNP + Plaid could win 40% of vote in 2029….
