Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-Pa.) said Amtrak’s president told him SEPTA funding cuts include $71.1 million necessary to operate the Keystone Service train between Harrisburg and NYC via Philly. The line would cease to operate without more state money for SEPTA.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled (again) that mail-in and absentee ballots with date issues will not be counted for the Nov. 5 election, deciding not to decide the constitutional question at issue but instead falling back on a 2023 ruling that the date is mandatory.
