First day in Spain yesterday was top notch! Lifers were House Bunting, Bonelli's Eagle and Black-winged Kite. Superb scenery and huge numbers of birds. #Birding

Well, I'm going to see Rush, in Arizona, next December! My oldest pal lives in Tucson and scored us tickets. We'll be combining it with birding, and maybe a drink or two. To say I'm excited, is an understatement! 😎🤘

Had a very nice week off work with my wife. Spent some time in North Berwick and then Anstruther. Weather was oddly quiet but very pleasant. Avian highlights included a day count record of 31 Pomarine Skuas at Fife Ness, a Grey Phal, two Balearic Shears, a White-billed Diver and a Glossy Ibis. Braw!

When I was at school (it was a while ago), you could not eat one of these in public. If you did, someone would definitely squash it - either before you could eat it, or while you were eating it. 🙄😅

Honestly, The Temperance Movement are one of the best rock n roll bands I've ever seen live. Right up there with the greats. A mesmerising show at the Barrowland tonight, and an unbelievable atmosphere. A privilege to have witnessed it! 😎🤘🔥

Another fantastic band that just couldn't find a way through the mire of a grass roots start were Liberty Lies. This album is fantastic. A world class singer and some amazing songs. Not enough to make it. #Rock

If you follow grass roots music, you see so many fantastic bands come and go. Not able to sustain the effort, not getting the breaks, real life side-swiping them. It's such a shame Tax The Heat seem to have just quietly sloped off. This is a splendid album. 😎🤘
