Reminds me of Icelandic exit signs, which I presume were written by Andy Capp.

Together we reached my stretch fundraising goal, for which I am grateful. If you've not had a chance to contribute yet, and you want to help kids like Harry, whatever you can spare at will be appreciated. 🙏💙

Nearly there! #GCC25 🚴💪

An update as we enter the fourth week of this year's Great Cycle Challenge, having just come in from the longest and the windiest ride I have cycled in many years...

Oh now this is an unexpected benefit of this app.

I thought today's Summle.net puzzle was easier than yesterday's. And now I can quantify this.

Yesterday:

Found 64 solutions
• 4 Steps (2) ⭐
• 5 Steps (62) ⭐

Today:

Found 227 solutions
• 4 Steps (16) ⭐
• 5 Steps (211) ⭐

Two weeks in and we've smashed my fundraising goal. Thank you all for your kindness. I've set a new fundraising goal of AU$750, which would be the most I've raised in a a single year of participating in the Great Cycle Challenge, but I think achievable with much of the month still to go.

"Oh, don't you ever, don't ever say die" --Black Sabbath

What a send-off Ozzy had at Villa Park this month! Truly one of the greatest performers and bona fide pioneers.

Took the family to Aerospace Bristol, where I was impressed by the amazing displays of planes.

junior parkrun continues to be a highlight of my weekends. Up and active in the great outdoors when Past Pete would have been hungover in bed. D saw a koala and we both saw many cockatoos before he walked and talked with the tail walker and I scanned barcodes. #loveparkrun

Things My Family Use As A Bin, a pie chart.

I'm sure this article doesn't apply to anecdata, it's just for laughs. Or cries, perhaps.

Finished reading the wonderful "Guilty by Definition" and I now have an "Oxford" shelf. Appropriate that @susiedent.com and Colin Dexter are adjacent. And Richard Osman is just next door. I quite fancy a visit back to the City of Dreaming Spires now.

Enjoyed a lunchtime chat with "Patrick" from "Telstra" who'd discovered that my mobile internet connection was on the "Public" network (verified by whatismyipaddress.com ). Unfortunately Zoho Assist wouldn't connect us, which was a shame because he became very abusive at that point and then hung up.
