and most data, arguably all of it, is skewed by the biases of the people who compiled it, plus the fact that we live in a world that is deeply racist, misogynistic, and unjust. it sucks.

i remember reading about a healthcare algorithm that led to disproportionately negative health outcomes for black and brown people because it was pulling from data that was inherently deeply skewed by racism. AI is no different unfortunately, because it can only pull from available data.
