Been a hell of a week.

Between it being full blown night at 5pm, the mountains of end of the year paperwork I’m doing, and the looming destruction of the free world, I am fucking bushed fam.

I think that it takes above average imagination, not above average intelligence, to have empathy for people who don’t live within your immediate sphere of influence. You have to be able to imagine what it’s like to be someone who is completely different from you to care about them.

Monolithic thinking is not a winning strategy. “The left” is a spectrum of people ranging from moderates to anarchists and if all of us are as quick to dismiss, ignore, and ridicule one another as the right wing does to us, we will never win another election.

The bottom two on this list happened within my lifetime; the bottom five within my mother’s. Women’s right are human rights and patriarchy is evil.
