Such a haul! We're visiting Seattle and I've raided a couple of used book stores, as I do. Can you believe I got all of these for like $29 (plus tax, of course)? I've read a couple of these already, but they're due for a re-read (and to recommend to my kiddos). Score!

This weekend I went to a writer's conference. One of the sessions was on writing dystopian fiction. One of the presenters couldn't come because she is from another country and was concerned about being detained at the border due to her visa type. The irony is not lost.
