Last summer i bought a lime tree.

My diligent little plant flowered and surprised me with fruit in its first year.

Ripeness is hard to tell, so I’ve been sheltering the plant from the cold, waiting for the fruit to soften and yellow.

I picked it last night and it was delicious.

Telling folks to just "plug in to community" rn is well-meaning and if you can do that, wonderful. But most people are not super connected to community for many reasons. So, if you don't have community rn that's ok, consider finding 2-5 ppl you can form a pod with.

Today, I’m concerned about how Trump arbitrarily fired 17 inspectors general. This is an attack on the fundamental checks and balances of our government infrastructure, and will be difficult to recover from if left unaddressed.
