This weekend is all about Eau Mohéli from Diptyque. Ylang ylang that leans more fresh and green than smooth and buttery. A punchy ginger peeking through blades of vetiver.

Tested the Aphorismes perfume line by Dominique Ropion yesterday. Quite enjoyed My Clementine - a biting but fresh citrus-floral with a most excellent opening.

Tested the revival Bienaime line yesterday. Beautiful, understated old Hollywood cosmetic glamour scents. Not a single dud in the collection.

My latest discovery is this Ropion creation - Peau de Soie from Starck. No notes listed. It is altogether fresh, fuzzy, musky, and floral - somewhat synthetic but in an interesting postmodern kinda way. Glad I picked this one up.
