I check Parfumo for new releases like it’s my job and thought it was kinda interesting to see 2 perfumes with blue lotus. I can’t say I’ve ever smelled a blue lotus accord but I’m intrigued.

A straightforward but altogether lovely rose-patch-saffron-oud. In a sea of perfumes with this profile, I like this one best. The rose is jammy. The oud and saffron whisper, they don’t yell.

I’m on the fence about this new Prada release. Rhubarb can lean into weed territory in a perfume. It’s a scent I generally enjoy but don’t want to wear. Also, who is the perfumer? Not buying any perfumes unless the brand gives proper credit to the nose.
