Glad I got to visit the Hap's Diner location from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me in Fall City, WA in 2023, as it's since been demolished. Guess I'll never get to ask Irene about the specials.

Reading Michael Atkinson's BFI Film Classics book on Blue Velvet and it describes Kyle MacLachlan's Jeffrey Beaumont as, "like a child longing to stick a fork into an electrical socket, just to see what happens."⚡⚡⚡

AMERICAN GOTHIC also features a lot of cemeteries and I enjoyed tracking down some of the the headstones and figures featured in the opening credits and throughout the series.

This set of locations features a number of the churches featured in AMERICAN GOTHIC. The town of Trinity, like Wilmington itself, has a LOT of churches!

More filming locations from AMERICAN GOTHIC. Hardly any information about the show's filming locations appears anywhere online. So this was my first attempt at finding locations just from screenshots, online maps, and (not infrequently) dumb luck. I learned a lot from it!

AMERICAN GOTHIC had a lot of potential, but CBS did not understand or support the show. It got moved around on the schedule, episodes were shown out of order, and it was ultimately cancelled after only one season.

Dropped our sweet girl, Lois (on the right, with her brother, Mario) off for her surgery this morning. Gonna be a long day, waiting to learn the results.

Friday, we learned our sweet girl Lois has a cancerous mass. Cancelled our planned trip to Pittsburgh so we can get it surgically removed this week. Don't know why I'm telling you this, I guess just because it's scary. Hug your fur babies, friends.

As a horror movie fan, I give Good Boy 4 stars. It's creepy and uniquely told, with effective sound design.
As a dog lover, I give it 5 million stars. Indy is my new favorite performer and I want him to star in everything now.
