We're almost ready to resume sexy commutes... Replacement cylinders are basically impossible to find, so the simple top end rebuild quickly turned into protracted suffering lol.

Hmmmm... valves are in spec, so I think my fear of piston slap has been confirmed.
Hopefully my head gasket and piston show up relatively soonish, but for now I'm just gonna pull it apart and see what's what.
Defo using this head. Cams and rockers look brand new.
