After a year and a half of drawing with either a plastic stylus or my index finger, I finally bought a real tablet with a real stylus.

The sluggishness and the horrible color accuracy of my old one were getting to me. The stylus started as a bonus, but became a necessity basically immediately.

One sorry-not-sorry benefit to working on an ongoing joke is the rare opportunity to reuse your own drawings specifically for the bit.
