in 2023, Bluetongue Virus BTV-3 killed more sheep in the Netherlands (<1% of EU) than wolves in the whole of the EU. When politicians say that we need to reduce protection of wolves to save rural livelihoods, this is BS💩

Yes, wolves are the real cause of the economic problems of European farmers. Not the furry ones with large teeth, for which Von der Leyen so aptly lowered protection with a trail of red herrings, but the wolves in suits and white collars.
