on the carbon dedicab it's hidden behind the gear shifter, but generally it'll be on the right side near the monitor
obvs depends on the cab

Card readers should be pretty obvious visually too, any dedicated underground or carbon cab should have them, if it's an upgrade from NFS GT it may or may not have one

Typically there will be a career mode option in the track selection menu, in carbon you have to "unlock" it by holding down a button so casual players don't accidentally select it (helps if it has a working card reader)

GVR seemed to have forgotten the golden rule of "people at arcades can't read"

So I can't speak for UG since I haven't played it (it was meant to connect online so some amount of stuff isn't accessible now)
but there's a carbon where I live and the save system still works since it was always an offline game, just a bit hard to find it in the menus
