okay, multiple PS2 HMDs
The catchily titled PUD-J5A had head tracking and could be used with about 5 games (which in vr tradition were all either flight simulators rollar coasters or porn)
While the Olympus eye-trek FMD-20P was a basic head mounted display with a native PS2 connection

I wanna say it was pretty common back then? I have a couple of them at least (though iirc the headphone jacks annoyingly only output the CD audio and not the rest from windows

decided to crack open the OG Xbox to check for bad caps, nothing seems off but the last guy inside helpfully marked the clock cap for me

slight problem, the only cable I have that works with it is way too short, but from my brief testing the tracking quality of this thing is insane
