Went to an estate sale in a rich neighborhood in Huntington.

Got this vase for $25.

It has uranium in it, but it doesn’t show well in the sunlight.

I noticed the green tint and hit it with the UV light.

I’ll take a better picture once I get it home and clean it up.

I got some carved yooperlites at the gem show.

One is a frog and the other is a skull.

I also got a shell with some glowy resin in it.

Drove out to Kanawha State Forest and took a stroll around the spotted salamander trail.

Startled a frog. 🐸
